IMPACT’S PROCESS FOR HIRING MINISTRY STAFF
Thank you for your interest in a staff position with Impact Campus Ministries. This page will give a brief overview of the hiring process (below). You can download the complete Application, which also includes the Medical History Form, the Personal Reference Form, and the Screening Procedure Form by clicking on the links. All of these forms must be completed, per the instructions on the application, before our hiring process can begin.
Step One – Application

Step Two – Phone Interview
The applicant will be contacted for a formal interview with the Director of Staff Development after all application forms have been received and processed. This is often done via Skype.
Step Three – Assessment Process
This process is determined by Impact’s Development Team, and often varies by the needs of the individual and the position being sought. It may include, but is not limited to, any of the following:
- Formal face-to-face interviews,
- Reference and background checks,
- Extended assessments, or
- Various forms of analysis (i.e. psychological testing, personality profiles, spiritual gifting assessments, etc.).
Step Four – Formal Letter of Invitation
Once the applicant has been approved, a formal letter of invitation to join Impact’s staff as a “Campus Ministry Recruit” will be mailed to the applicant. The Recruit phase then officially begins, and the individual focuses their time on fundraising and preparing for ministry on campus. ICM provides fundraising training, coaching the individual through the entire support raising process.
