Tommy White

Tommy is Impact’s Lead Campus Minister in Salt Lake City, UT.

I have been involved in the church my whole life. Being born and raised in Los Angeles (CA) prepared me to relate to a variety of people in all walks of life.  After several years of attending college and pursuing musical endeavors, I obeyed a call on my life to move away from the familiar and attend Bible College in Nebraska.  Those five years again proved to be a time of preparation for the future.  I met my wife, Jennifer, and moved into full-time ministry after graduating from Nebraska Christian College (A.A. Church Music, 1986; B.S. Pastoral Ministries, 1989).  The next 20 years I served in local church ministries in Kansas, Oregon and Nebraska.

In  December of 2008, I ended a fruitful ministry as Worship Pastor of Kingsway Christian Church in Omaha to lay the groundwork for ICM in Utah.

Currently, the ICM Salt Lake City team serves students on the following campuses:  University of Utah, Westminster College, Salt Lake City Community College, The Art Institute of SLC & Weber State University.

I enjoy reading novels, watching college football and just hanging out with my family.

Jennifer and I have three children (Elizabeth, 14, Sam, 11, Anna, 8).  We homeschool our children and enjoy the freedom that comes with this choice of schooling.  What fills our tanks?  We love, as a family, to get out of town and travel to state parks and hideaways.
