Marty Solomon

Marty is Impact’s Associate Campus Minister at the University of Idaho (Moscow, ID), and Washington State University (Pullman, WA).

After I graduated from Wendell High School in 2001, I went on to get my B.A. in Christian Ministries from Boise Bible College.  While there, I met this amazing girl who would become my wife on January 3rd, 2004.

I pastored a church in Boise for just under five years and — after a short stint at Industrial Ventilation Inc. — took a job back in the Magic Valley at Twin Falls Reformed Church where I spent the last three and a half years serving as the Director of Outreach.

During our stay in Twin Falls, we had two beautiful children (Abigail Adaiah, 3 yrs and Ezekiel James, 1 yr).  I also had the amazing opportunity to travel to Israel in 2008 and Turkey in 2010 to study for four weeks under renowned historian Ray VanderLaan.

I am now employed at Impact Campus Ministries and am living in Moscow, ID. I am enjoying my new job on the campuses of University of Idaho and Washington State as a campus pastor. I am part of a team of people, led by Eric Wright, where we facilitate small groups, life transformation and the pursuit of intimacy with God for over 100 students.  This new life as a missionary who lives on raised support has already proven to be an insightful adventure full of life lessons.

My biggest passion is to start an intensive discipleship program in which I can pursue the kind of first-century discipleship that he encountered in Israel and Turkey.  I also have hopes that this program would birth itself out of an intentional community or collegiate church on the UofI and WSU campuses.
