Our Board of Directors

STEPHEN EDWARDS, CHAIR

www.memorymp.comFollower of Jesus, learning to love Him more, trust Him more, surrender to Him more completely as I follow Him in making disciples of all the nations

I have been serving as the Executive Director of the Intermountain Church Planters Association (ICPA) since 1997. I am also a consultant of churches interested in Capital Stewardship Campaigns.

I enjoy preparing the ground for new churches through leading groups of people on extended prayer journeys, and my greatest interest is in preparing disciple makers through life transforming groups.

Bill Westfall

Bill joined Impact in 2005 as the Boise State University Lead Campus Minister.  After serving in that position for 5 years, he transitioned into the role of President and Director of Ministry Development when Impact Campus Ministries restructured in the spring of 2010. Starting March 1, 2016, he resigned from Impact vocationally and joined our Board of Directors. He is currently working for Edward Jones, being the example in the work place that he thought students to be for so many years.

Bill is a graduate of the University of Oregon (Business Administration, Accounting), and spent seven years working as a CPA in Oregon before moving across the country, to Tennessee, where he attended Emmanuel Christian Seminary (1997-2000), receiving his MA in Religion.  Bill joined CMF International in 2000, and served as a missionary to the people of Turkana, Kenya (2001-04).

An experienced mentor, teacher, and coach to college students and emerging leaders, Bill is especially passionate about helping students make a positive difference in the world. He recently completed his doctorate degree (Doctor of Ministry) at George Fox University, researching the negative influence of Western-consumerism on college students, and how Christian leaders can be more effective at helping students combat these cultural forces. His research has resulted in a cross-cultural service-learning experience for students. Impact implemented this program in 2013, when Bill led a small group of campus ministers and students to Kenya. The program will continue in 2014 in Kenya, with research being done to expand the program to other regions of the world in 2015. The program is called, Impact the World.

Bill has been married to Leah for 27 years, and has three children (Josh, Madison, and Mackenzie). He lives in Boise, ID, where the fly fishing opportunities abound.
